φ1000の直胴部とφ340のホッパーを組み合わせた大物の曲げ加工品で、タンク内部には原料の堆積を軽減させるためバフ#300が施されています。曲げ加工に関しては大型になればなるほど加工が難しくなるため熟練した技術やノウハウが要求されます。例えば寸法を合わせる専用ゲージや蓄積したデータを用いますが、最後の仕上げはなんと言っても職人の技と勘が必要です。これによってはじめて難しい曲げ加工が可能となるのです。そのため、溶接時の少しの歪みが出やすい大型製缶品も仕上げやすくなります。

A combined body (φ1000) and hopper (φ340), buffing agent #300 has been applied to the inner part of the tank to reduce build up of sediment from contained materials.

Achieving precision curved production on such a large item is a difficult task demanding a high level of technical expertise and know-how. Even beyond the dedicated measuring gauge and collected data, completion relies on the engineer’s personal sense. It is only through such perception that the challenge associated with curved machining becomes possible.
